gross had nothing to do with it. POS dave gettleman made him restructure his contract last season so he basically had to be cut after the year. gross just retired instead of going elsewhere

Cam's legs have really been the only saving grace on offense tonight. He hasn't had much touch at all on his throws. OL hasn't given him much time. Run game hasn't been too good either, although did look better that drive.

Panthers have been out coached all game. Cover the best tight end in the game one on one all game. That first down QB run from the 6 was so damn predictable. Allowed a td with one minute left in the half when the Saints had no timeouts. This has been a dumpster fire.

The D has shown at least some signs of life in the last two weeks. Offense is atrocious. No OL, Cam played poorly the last two games, some drops by receivers. Red zone offense continues to be gross.

KB in particular has dropped 2 touchdowns in the endzone the last 2 games. That's completely unacceptable. If he wants to be a great receiver he HAS to pull those down when they really matter in the red zone.

Yeah, other than Andrew Norwell who looks the part, the rest should all be replaced. Bell and Chandler are backups at best, asking them to take 100% of the snaps against elite defensive ends is just unfair to them. Still, Cam could play better. He's clearly going for too much on passes when he could have taken a decent gain underneath.

While I think another year of Gettleman draft picks and some cap space will do more for this team than coaching changes, Shula is a below average coordinator at best. Relying on the read option has clearly held Cam back as a passer, and it hasn't proven productive enough in games to warrant it's constant use. I'm fine with firing him as a scapegoat alone, but talent is the biggest problem on this team.
