The average for miscarriage after the woman knows about it is lower than 30% but not by much. Blame it on pregnancy tests for causing more emotional stress than what was needed. Evolution made sure to work in boatloads of pain and suffering in every step of the human lifecycle. That's what you get for existing.

i would like to embarrassingly raise my hand and say that i have, in fact, had that happen on a first date.

we had hibachi, and it was the first time i'd had that type of food. it was delicious, and i was unaware the effects that the ginger sauce would have on me. though it was his place we went back to for movie watching, so i blew up his bathroom...twice.

I am glad I don't have to go through dating again. I would want to get all the gross stuff out of the way at the very beginning. Seems like a good idea just because to get all that physical vulnerability out of the way will then leave the rest of your relationship to just work on the emotional vulnerability.

It would be kind of like, "This new girl I am dating loves to pick her nose ALL THE DAMN TIME, I have already had to hold her hair back while she puked in my toilet because she blacks out almost every time she gets drunk, I can't really take her anywhere public to eat because she requires a bib and all the napkins they have, her farts bring tears to my eyes and puke to my gullet, she isn't bald...down there and when she does get rid of hair she uses my razor, she shaves her legs every three days, she squeezes and picks zits, she doesn't take a shower every day, she enjoys tweezing her eyebrows and other facial hair...a little too much, since she has had her gaggle of children she tends to smell at times, and she wears the same clothes multiple days in a row."

I would be single for the rest of my life just on the gross principle alone.
