have you ever considered fixing laptops for money?
I need my laptop fixed! It is a Compaq, power issue...something wrong w/ the connection between the battery and the charger. And the PCI slot doesn't work. They are both on the same side so that could be related.

i have an hp zt1170? or something that I no longer need, i got it about 3 years ago

its a pentium 3, 15 inch screen, rest of the spec I don't really remember, i think it's got a 30 gig harddrive, 1.13 or 1.3 clockspeed

it's definitely got some problems cuz it freezes up on me all the time and 2 of the keys do not always work right but I'm still using it every other day so it's still running

I'm required to get a thinkpad for school in august so I won't need this any more. How much would you offer me for it?

Mine is a 5100 averatec centrino 1.2 ghz. the only thing wrong with it is that the case is missing a couple of screws cause i took it apart trying to fix the cd drive which doesnt work and lost the screws. 40 gb harddrive, 768 ram.... it's a great laptop i just want one with a faster processer and better video card. this video card is crap

hell i'll even include the external cd/dvd writer that i got to take the place of this drive. It's a memorex and it burns up to 16 dvdr.
