is anyone familiar with the legal requirements for a builder to warrant new construction for a period of one year from the date of a new home purchase?

I may have to take legal action against the builder of my townhouse since they dont want to uphold their one year warranty that I have a legal signed contract for.

and to stay on topic with the thread, I own my own home in Cary, its great
