Quote : | "Locals - Loose Barge Broke The New Orleans Levee
Locals from Lakeview subdivision of New Orleans report that after Katrina passed a loose barge struck levee causing breach that flooded city. WMR has just been informed by evacuees in Baton Rouge from Lakeview, a well-to-do New Orleans neighborhood, that the flooding of the city was caused by a loose barge striking the levee on the 17th Street Canal. The breach was not caused by rising flood waters as reported by FEMA and other agencies. Lakeview is some 1.5 miles down Veterans Boulevard from the 17th St. Canal breach. Distraught evacuees want to know why the Coast Guard or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers did not secure the barge. The evacuees who witnessed the barge striking the levee also want to know why the major media is not covering this story." |

Levee 'Explosives Residue' Story Remains Unconfirmed http://www.rense.com/general67/exple.htm
Quote : | "Explosive Residue Found On Failed Levee Debris By Hal Turner 9-9-5 NEW ORLEANS, La -- Divers inspecting the ruptured levee walls surrounding New Orleans found something that piqued their interest: Burn marks on underwater debris chunks from the broken levee wall! One diver, a member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, saw the burn marks and knew immediately what caused them. He secreted a small chunk of the cement inside his diving suit and later arranged for it to be sent to trusted military friends at a The U.S. Army Forensic Laboratory at Fort Gillem, Georgia for testing. According to well placed sources, a military forensic specialist determined the burn marks on the cement chunks did, in fact, come from high explosives. The source, speaking on condition of anonymity said "We found traces of boron-enhanced fluoronitramino explosives as well as PBXN-111. This would indicate at least two separate types of explosive devices." The levee ruptures in New Orleans did not take place during Hurricane Katrina, but rather a day after the hurricane struck. Several residents of New Orleans and many Emergency Workers reported hearing what sounded like large, muffled explosions from the area of the levee, but those were initially discounted as gas explosions from homes with leaking gas lines. If these allegations prove true, the ruptured levee which flooded New Orleans was a deliberate act of mass destruction perpetrated by someone with access to military-grade UNDERWATER high explosives." |

Blackwater Mercenaries To Clear New Orleans http://judicial-inc.biz/kautrina_blackwater_2.htm
Blackwater Mercenaries Deploy in New Orleans http://www.truthout.org/docs_2005/091005A.shtml
Quote : | "New Orleans - Heavily armed paramilitary mercenaries from the Blackwater private security firm, infamous for their work in Iraq, are openly patrolling the streets of New Orleans. Some of the mercenaries say they have been "deputized" by the Louisiana governor; indeed some are wearing gold Louisiana state law enforcement badges on their chests and Blackwater photo identification cards on their arms. They say they are on contract with the Department of Homeland Security and have been given the authority to use lethal force.
...Blackwater mercenaries are some of the most feared professional killers in the world and they are accustomed to operating without worry of legal consequences. Their presence on the streets of New Orleans should be a cause for serious concern for the remaining residents of the city and raises alarming questions about why the government would allow men trained to kill with impunity in places like Iraq and Afghanistan to operate here. Some of the men now patrolling the streets of New Orleans returned from Iraq as recently as 2 weeks ago." |

Claudia Kemmer, Associated Press September 10, 2005
BERLIN — A German military plane carrying 15 tons of military rations for survivors of Hurricane Katrina was sent back by U.S. authorities, officials said Saturday.
The plane was turned away Thursday because it did not have the required authorization, a German government spokesman said.
The spokesman, speaking on customary condition of anonymity, declined to comment on a report in the German news magazine Der Spiegel that U.S. authorities refused the delivery on the grounds that the NATO military rations could carry mad cow disease.
The spokesman said U.S. authorities had since given approval for future aid flights, but it was unclear whether the German military would try again to deliver the rations.
Since Hurricane Katrina struck the United States, many international donors have complained of frustration that bureaucratic entanglements have hindered shipments to the United States. " |

Quote : | "Cops trapped survivors in New Orleans
By Shaun Waterman Sep 9, 2005, 19:00 GMT
WASHINGTON, DC, United States (UPI) -- Police from surrounding jurisdictions shut down several access points to one of the only ways out of New Orleans last week, effectively trapping victims of Hurricane Katrina in the flooded and devastated city.
An eyewitness account from two San Francisco paramedics posted on an internet site for Emergency Medical Services specialists says, "Thousands of New Orleaners were prevented and prohibited from self-evacuating the city on foot."
"We shut down the bridge," Arthur Lawson, chief of the City of Gretna Police Department, confirmed to United Press International, adding that his jurisdiction had been "a closed and secure location " since before the storm hit.
'All our people had evacuated and we locked the city down,' he said.
The bridge in question -- the Crescent City Connection -- is the major artery heading west out of New Orleans across the Mississippi River.
Lawson said that once the storm itself had passed Monday, police from Gretna City, Jefferson Parrish and the Louisiana State Crescent City Connection Police Department closed to foot traffic the three access points to the bridge closest to the West Bank of the river." |

Quote : | "New Orleans: covert operations underway?
By Larry Chin Online Journal Associate Editor
September 10, 2005—Wednesday's broadcast of KPFA's "Flashpoints" featured a telephone interview with Malik Rahim, who gave a gut-wrenching and shocking firsthand account of the staggering horror of still-neglected New Orleans that he and other survivors are facing.
In stark contrast to increasingly optimistic mainstream media coverage (cover-up) about "improving relief efforts" and "rebuilding," Rahim exposed the fact that there is no relief. No Red Cross, no food, no emergency medical care under a FEMA lockdown that has kept any relief from getting into New Orleans.
Meanwhile, as the Bush administration's combat operations ramp up, and troops prowl the streets, no help whatsoever has been offered to residents, according to Rahim. Rotting corpses litter the streets. People, heroically fending for themselves and their own, are being left in shocking conditions to suffer and die.
And there is more. In "Slow response or deliberate extermination?", I wrote:
"Between these disturbing [independent firsthand] reports, and accounts such as "The People of the Dome", New Orleans is being reduced to another Fallujah."
Rahim's account confirms this—literally. According to Rahim, mercenaries from Blackwater USA are rumbling through the New Orleans streets, armed to the teeth and in full battle gear." |

San Francisco Chronicle Cecilia M. Vega, Chronicle Staff Writer Tuesday, September 13, 2005

Outside one house on Kentucky Street, a member of the Army 82nd Airborne Division summoned a reporter and photographer standing nearby and told them that if they took pictures or wrote a story about the body recovery process, he would take away their press credentials and kick them out of the state.
"No photos. No stories," said the man, wearing camouflage fatigues and a red beret." |
What? No First Amendment Rights in the New AmeriKa, the police state-martial law AmeriKa. The Second Amendment and rights to property have already been scrapped as well. The Patriot Act has pretty much killed the 4th Amendment. What's one more?

You are able to produce these wild and hilarious conspiracy theories, yet the best you can do is to insert a K into America? Thats rather disappointing.
If you're so anti-police state, why aren't you down in New Orleans helping the brave citizens fight off martial law? As much bitching as you have done about it, I would assume that you would want to fight the power as soon as possible.

Check out this shirt of our "loving" police officers administering the "loving" martial law in New Orleans.
Similar in style to the death's head symbology that is used by other "Brotherhood of Death" organizations, including the Nazis, the Order of the Skull and Bones, and the KKK.

Its a t-shirt. So now whenever I see a t-shirt with a skull on it, I'll know that martial law is coming? Please stop being such an alarmist crybaby. Why can't you find a picture that actually proves something? Like one of soldiers gunning down civilians, or better yet, find us a picture of the NWO's hurricane machine. That would be pretty convincing.

No, its just a skull on a t-shirt. SWAT is the police equivalent of special forces, they enjoy the badass reputation, thus they put skulls and such on their shirts. I would love to read your explanation had it been a "Big Johnson" t-shirt.9/18/2005 3:45:56 PM |

Pentagon covering up shooting incidents in New Orleans by BATF and Blackwater Mercenaries: Reports of 150+ killed by lethal force. http://www.rense.com/general67/unreporteddeadlyforce.htm
Quote : | "Reports are emanating out of New Orleans that National Guard, regular military, officers of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and private security personnel have shot to death homeless and needy survivors of Hurricane Katrina. One shooting incident is alleged to have occurred last week at Louis Armstrong International Airport where over a hundred people were subjected to lethal force after troops feared they were going to "riot." It is uncertain how many people have been killed by lethal force in New Orleans, but the numbers mentioned are in excess of 150." |

because soldiers and blackwater mercs are shooting looters and criminals on site, and making the city safe. is that a police state? maybe. but it's awhole lot better than the bedlam of anarchy that had ensued, making it unsafe for rescue missions to take place
and also, soldiers keeping reporters from taking pictures of the dead is a sign of both respect and for the public interest. and, it's nothing new. hell, FDR forced the press to keep quiet on a LOT of issues in WW2, for the good of the effort. 9/19/2005 3:22:20 PM |

1. A "bedlam of anarchy" is not necessarily what was REALLY going on in N.O. That is what the media would like us to believe.
2. What looting and lawlessness DID occur was certainly aided and created by the deliberate lack of response by FEMA and the Feds after Katrina hit. Put yourself in that situation. If no help arrived for days and you didn't have food or water, wouldn't you get water and food from abandoned stores in order to survive? You can call that "looting", but it is basic survival.
Quote : | "and also, soldiers keeping reporters from taking pictures of the dead is a sign of both respect and for the public interest. and, it's nothing new. hell, FDR forced the press to keep quiet on a LOT of issues in WW2, for the good of the effort." |
EXCUSES, EXCUSES. Call it what it is. It is infringing on our First Amendment Rights. FREEDOM OF THE PRESS?! Freedom of speech? Ever heard of it. Those are unalienable rights. They cannot be taken away.
And confiscating firearms in violation of the second amendment is just a-ok as well, right? I mean, if it "makes us safer", it's good right? And, of course, if Bush is doing it, it must be ok. He's a "conservative". He wouldn't support trashing gun rights, would he? So, even if his government does it, it must be ok. Bush can do no wrong.
What excuses will blindly loyal Bush supporters come up with next for the destruction of our constitutional rights? Wake up and notice what is happening. Just because Bush has an "R" beside his name doesn't mean he can't make a mistake or support policies which infringe on our rights. Think about it.
