ABC will announce at their Upfront on May 16th...so youll know the status of the series in 11 days. It sounds like they are willing to keep one weak show on board, and thats basically between Invasion and Commander-in-Chief. Invasion actually has pretty good ratings when it follows a new episode of Lost, and it hasnt been reinvented several times like CIC has....so my guess is Invasion will be back.

Invasion is officially cancelled. Rumor is The CW was interested in picking it up if ABC canned it, but supposedly that interested has faded, so it looks like we will probably end up with a cliffhanger that will never be resolved tomorrow night.

It was a shitty ending to a good show. Being that you also watch Lost, Charlie, you should know something about shitty season finales. Also, it was canned while having decent ratings while "What About Brian" was renewed even though it had awful ratings.

Invasion didn't survive because it doesn't have JJ Abrams' name attached to it

LOST, while it can be annoying and just one step below Grey's Anatomy, its still interesting and grabs your attention. Whether you absolutely like it or it pisses the hell out of you you still watch either way.

Invasion was just there, it wasn't interesting and it just dragged along. I didn't care about the people, or what happened to some of the people, or really what was going on because they didn't do a good enough job of presenting what was happening.

This finale was perfect b/c it just goes to show that no one really understood the point of the show. LOST's finale was made up for by the next season premiere, though LOST's season finale greatly pissed me off. I will however plan on not watching LOST anymore if it becomes like Power Rangers and starts rotating cast members each season.

Also, What About Bryan has Abrams' name attached to it too...so there you go

For me Greys Anatomy was the "I dont care what happens to these people show", except for maybe George. I think Invasion was much better when Tom was the creepy ringleader of the hybrids and the family had to deal with the fact he was "one of them" yet also part of the family. Then at some point it was decided he would turn face, and then it seemed everyone was good or bad, nothing in between. Im guessing this might have been done to dumb down the series and/or help get them to some kind of closure (which to some extent they did outside of the whole Larkin being shot ordeal)....still some unanswered questions, but Im not wondering who shot JR either.

i guess for me i have to find something i can sorta relate to to like/hate a tv show

hurricanes and aliens and half-people-aliens and whatever themes were presented just weren't enough for me

It wasn't picked up by ABC but it might make ABC Family's rotation. It could be used as a mid season replacement next year to. But last nights episode you could tell was trying to set up another season instead of ending the series. I wish network execs would make up there minds on whether to cancel shows sooner. I mean this episode was shot back when it appeared they would live on for season 2. I need more closure in Sci Fi and Dramatic series.
