I'd buy one. I'm honestly not sure which is better, the new Miata or the Solstice. Miata might win out just barely...

The Miata weighs around 400lbs than the Solstice.

It'd be my pick, even though it costs another $2-3k.

a miata is a sports car.. an STI/EVo is not by any stretch.

sports car = 2 seater, RWD, convertable. S2000, Z3, Z4, miata, solstice

a sports car need not be a convertible

and i'd say that an STi and EVO are borderline. not by the strictest definition, but if i was being loose enough in my definition to include, say, Supras or 300ZXs, i'd likely include the STi and EVO.

are we seriously having this discussion?

mustang: not a sports car
z28: not a sports car
miata: sports car (& roadster)
convertible: not sports car requirement

if you don't understand why you're just plain dumb
