Saw it last night. Beautiful movie with a good story, but really slow.

The first sex scene made no sense. There was no sexual tension beforehand, just two hungover guys waking up in the same tent and then going to town on each other. It just struck me as odd.

I could care less that this movie is a gay love story, in the end it is still a love story; the gay part is just a twist on every other love story. I have no interest in seeing this movie for the same reason I do not want to see the dozens of other love stories that come out every year. In the end the movie appears to just be a common chick-flick, only this time with fewer chicks and more dicks.

If I am wrong and there is somehow an amazing life-message or actual substance beyond what the common chick-flick has, please correct me.

There's no reason to flame people who feel uncomfortable about watching homosexual romance, just as there's no reason to flame people who like the fact it's about a gay couple. But TWW isn't exactly full of mature members.

I like Anne Hathaway, and am interested in why the guys got married and what kind of effect those married lives have on the guys, just as though it was a heterosexual couple that you feel like is just completely meant for each other, but that are in circumstances that don't allow it. Doesn't make their illicit affairs okay though. The only thing holding me from being 100% interested in seeing the movie is that I feel uncomfortable seeing two guys making out. To me it feels unnatural, and that's me. Many others feel the same way, many feel oppositely. To diss either group is just immature.
