Last night's episodes sucked. When did Dr. Cox turn into such a pussy? He's the only reason I used to watch the show.

The one where Braff ran the 5k was pretty good. Those outdoor scenes were beautiful.

I'm not down with the whole "Dr. Cox is really a lonely loser" subplot. If you watch one of the first several episodes, he's having a party at his apartment with plenty of friends and tells JD to piss off. In a later episode they did the same thing, only no one showed up to his party and he still told JD to piss off just to 'hide his loneliness'. Eh well, it's a chick show anyway.

My girlfriend and I argued about this for a while... I don't see how you could use organs from a person who (supposedly) just overdosed on cocaine. Maybe an ex-addict, or someone who hadn't done it in a while, but if they just overdosed, wouldn't a nearly lethal (if not lethal) dose of the drug still be in the bloodstream?

Oh the medical plots are just plain silly on this show, no sense trying to think about them too much. The "I learned something today..." monologues at the end never really make sense either and rarely tie together properly, but just chock it up to the power of trendy music and soft lighting to make it seem relevant.(WHY WOULD THERE BE ANYTHING BUT FLOURESCENT LIGHTS IN A HOSPITAL?)

Anyway, I really enjoyed that choppy camera work after the last dude died. When Dr. Cox lost it, he screamed and came towards the camera just as the camera was zooming in on him. Then the camera actually jerked back. I don't know what it was, but combine the music and lighting with that and it was a very powerful, involving scene.
