well my feeling changed pretty quickly. Josh portis is transferring from Florida. I expect them to turn on the recruiting with BS now. BS was quoted earlier saying that if UF wanted him he'd have a visit by now and he didn't know what's going on. Hopefully he remembers he was second fiddle to tebow at UF.

beamer verbally accecpted the UNC job and everyone in chapel hill was excited, and it was in the paper that he was on the plane, and actually came to chapel hill to sign a contract, and he realized that he couldnt leave VT, so he never signed and UNC got real mad

Florida is definitely one of his choices... I believe those 4 (NCSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, Wisc.) are the only schools he's talked to about visits. UF is all about Tebow right now, hopefully Brent understands that.

From things I've seen/heard, Meyer and Leak are not clicking at all. Meyer wants Tebow to be his next "Alex Smith". Leak is reportedly really feeling some heat down in Gainesville from fans and Meyer.

scout.com is exactly the quickest to update interests and offers. LB Orlando Farrow has been listed as having a scholly offer from us for a while, but we never offered and he just committed to ECU.

I really like our chances of getting him. Florida clearly wants Tebow over Schaeffer. They are calling Schaeffer their backup option in case they don't get Tebow.

Looks like Spurrier has his QB and Bama is now all or nothing with Tebow. Makes me feel even more uneasy about of chances with Tebow. I hope someone has been keeping touch with Schaeffer.
It's better safe than sorry...

If he does happen to read that stuff or follow any of it, he might think that is not the best place for him. I just wish Tebow would commit to them so Schaeffer would know.

^That would be fine with me. I like Meyer but after reading their message boards I can't stand some of their fans. One fan was worried about the QB situation there and called Leak a square peg in a round hole. He doesn't know how many teams in the country would die to have Chris Leak. While he isn't IDEAL for the spread Meyer runs, he is still dang good and in the pros will be very good i believe. It is not like he lost them any games by himself this year.

I would be shocked if he didn't come here based on all the outside evidence. Tebow and Leak at UF, Ole Miss sucks, has that 4 star QB and no Mazzone (don't know why thats a plus for him but whatever), and Wisconsin doesn't seem like an attractive option for him based off of pretty much all the evidence that surrounds everything I've read on this guy for the last 3 years. I think considering that Amato promotes on attractive program and the fact that if he signs with us he'll most likely start then he will come here, JMO.
