You're exactly right, I haven't....because I couldn't stand that garbage for more than a minute.

yeah cause you can make an accurate complete overall judgement of a band in less than one minute of one song

I liked franz, had never heard a death cab song before this, and I am glad. They were fucking awful.

yes, we waited in line for around 30-40 minutes.

the amount of nerdy Duke students and lesbians I saw in that line almost made my head explode.

anyway I thought franz ferdinand played way better than death cab. we got there in the middle of "do you want to," I wish we had got there on time

did any1 see the cribs? how were they?

same for me...I was fucking bored off my ass for the last hour b/c I couldnt hear a damn thing but the bass drum. I guess I should have memorized the songs before hand so I could know what was being said.

^^ The Cribs were awful IMO. The 1st song was okay, but then the rest were just bad. Their drummer was solid, but that was it.

I got in there at about 6:15, the metal-detector line wait was 3 minutes max. Very easy process compared to most concerts...I guess getting there early paid off

me and teh_toch waited in line for like an hour (from 7ish-8ish), missed the Cribs, but I think only missed a couple FF songs

^^^

hahaha, I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I had started to daydream about climbing up on the rafters and ripping down the dook banners one by one, and I must have been staring up there for a while, b/c one of my buddies thought I was sick or something.

^ you mean when no one knew who death cab was?

Half of the crowd didn't even know the words to songs off of Transatlanticism.

back when their songs were interesting. and plenty of people knew who they were. they were still selling out shows at cat's cradle. they just weren't on the OC or whatever.

hell, i bought tranatlanticism and listened to it maybe twice. i woudl have been in the same boat as half the crowd.

Went to this concert and the sound was horrible. You could hear the drums and bass, but nothing else.

Franz rocked, or at least his last 6 songs or so did. Missed the earlier ones because I was standing in a huge line.

Death Cab was ok, but their vocals just sounded really weak, at least until the last few songs and encore. Dunno if they always sound shitty live or whether it was the Cameron Curse, but the vocals for the most part were the worst I've ever heard live.

The drums(Franz with 3 sets, and when DC played with two sets) was awesome, and the encore rocked.

I am pretty sure there was a song in between "I will follow you in to the dark" and "transatlanticism" in the encore, but I can't remember what it was
