its bound to be a marketing study...probably to find out when and if their demographic watches NASCAR races, so they can decide if it is economical to pay for an ad during a race, or possibly to sponsor a race car.

i personally think tony is a major league asshole but he is definitely in the top 5 in terms of driver skill. At the Daytona road course IROC race the sumbitch passed 8 or so cars in one lap.

^ there's one thing about IROC, the cars are much more similar to a nascar vehicle in terms of weight and body design, if they wanted a true test of motorsports best, IROC would run not only the firebirds, but run a sprint car or an open wheel car at open wheel venues

I've always found nascar.com to be a fairly good source of news. They're somewhat independent, although they never say something critical, they tackle tough items on there. Which is the complete opposite of TV, from which you would think NASCAR is Kum-By-Yah Utopia Land.

Mayfield is suing. Hmm. Jeremy, the reason you got fired is cause you're a tempetuous b**** that never learned that sometimes it may serve purpose to keep your mouth shut, not cause you were wrongfully terminated.

Gone is one guy who made the first two Chases, although he finished 10th in 2004 and 9th last year.

Not the kind of publicity NASCAR needs, although I'm very interested to hear about driver contract details if it goes to civil court. Probably one reason Mayfield will get a settlement.
