not that i think we are better without Evtimov by any means, but we most definitely are a much faster team that can score effectively in transition.

i think because of the way that we space, a fast/semi-fast break would do wonders for looks at open threes.

Simmons needs to learn to make post moves like mccauley -- use his weight, move TOWARD the basket. A layup is easier than the jump hook.


If he learns to be less tentative in the post, he is going to be nasty as a junior.

well, with all the 3's there isnt as much of a priority to get points in the paint. we usually start pounding it into simmons in the second half anyway. maybe not the most complete half, but we look damn good. and yes, there was that 4-5 minute draught. i just hope we remain hot in the second.
