I can make conversation with anyone I want. I just don't like UNC fans because of their unfounded arrogance and blatant trolling after unc games. I'm sure you're a nice person outside of the fact that you're a unc fan, and otherwise I would not mind actual conversation.

BUT, rolling up into sports talk the day after a unc/state game and trying to bring "perspective" and "objective insight" is like bringing a pocket knife to a war as your lone protection. Give us a few days (or weeks) to get the frustration out, and then we'll try and talk "perspective" and "objectivity". Right now, State fans (me included) need to vent. So I'll take stabs at the officiating, I'll take stabs at carolina "class", and I'll take pot shots at sheep that stick their heads up in this game that is called TWW. I know we lost because we didn't play well. We are a better, more experienced team than UNC, we just didn't show it.

I hate Carolina. I hate it when my little brother's school wins. I will officially throw my allegiance to any team that plays them for the rest of the season. I want to see them flop and falter. I want to see them lose!

State fans spend too much time hating everyone else and not enough time supporting their school

a major difference is that carolina and duke teams/fans expect and know they are going to win. And guess what, they do.

State fans just want to win, but waste their time hating on other schools more than they build up their own.

I dont want carolina to beat us, but i dont give a shit if they win in other games, it doesnt fucking matter. I only care that state does well.

Don't get me wrong, I support State all year, every sport. I am a proud member of both the Wolfpack Club and Alumni Association, and I update my pledge and donate accordingly as I can. I just have NEVER liked UNC, EVER. I wear red EVERYDAY. I go to baseball games, crew matches, women's basketball, track/field. Everything I can do to support OUR school and my alma mater.
