look at the people around on you the frisbee golf course and then re-evaluate if that constitutes getting in shape.

last time I played, I lost a disk at the water hole on Millbrook. I went in the water to try to find my disk, and ended up finding 180 disks in an hour without finding the one i lost. Play it again sports paid us $3 a piece for them.

you could see the bottom of the pond through the water 5 years ago. I think someone dumped a bucket of pool shock in it.

ha ha I skipped that one today.. I was using a friend's disc and thats all I need is to loose someone else's shit... I bought my own today.. I don't think I will throw at the hole until i feel confident i can make it across with out having to fish for it...

you can just put up to the bank of the pond from the tee and then throw across. it's a lot easier that way.

you won't see me out there. I gave up on disc golf about 4 years ago, at about the same time I quit drinking forties of malt liquor. The two are interconnected.

Well. These days, its the drive to not only beat, but to destroy my eternal foil in this little sprint triathlon I am training for. And by "eternal foil", I mean, one of my best friends.

We grew up together and were carved from the same mold in some cases and an anthetical one in others. We both played the same sports and in some of them I was better than him (soccer, baseball) and in some of them he was better than me (basketball, and football in one aspect).

I have always been something of a sprinter, he was always more endurance inclined. No matter what it is, we have always had this subtle/passive competitiveness in whatever we do down to the most trite shit sometimes. So, to beat him at his own game (an endurance competition) and to know how much it will eat at him until the next event is what has me motivated these days.

Meh, I ran 4.2 miles.. just got back.

It's nasty today to me (seems real humid) so I'll probably take it easy for the rest of the day since my groin is still a bit sore..

I'm a bit unnerved by my groin tenderness.. It's been going on for like 2 weeks but it isn't so bad as to make me stop doing what I do.. I'm hoping it's just a very small strain and nothing more. I popped it back when I played hockey in HS and that was a totally different feeling..

Also, I've worked pretty good to get myself into decent shape since I graduated school but I KNOW I'm not going to find the time to keep it up in grad school unfortunately

V law school /= your typical grad school program

Yea, all the area MTB trails are closed as of about 10am. I highly doubt any of them open up today.

maybe wakeboarding is different than skiing and kneeboarding, but I only feel them in my upper back the next day. If your arms hurt, you might have overstrained a tendon.
