It is a big loss if he doesn't come here. Of course the program will go on.. the doomsday people are just as annoying as the people (a few of them at least) being constant pricks to everyone who supported Herb.

I wouldn't downplay losing a PG (IF we indeed lose him) like Wright though... It's a big loss and admitting that has NOTHING to do with your opinion on Herb/the program..

** though I find it ironic that TWW is downplaying this consider we lose our shit over some 3 or 4* QB who mentions us as one of twelve schools he is interested in..

i was never a fan of the "fuck herb/fire herb/kill herb" movement and i openly voiced that opinion

reality is, it is very likely a plateau had been reached...herb is a likeable guy and a solid coach, but not for the level that we have no choice to aspire to be on (due to proximity to those other schools)

herb made a decision that will be great for him and a good improvement for arizona state.

it is time for ncsu to move on...people arent even really bringing up the point that herb supposedly left because of fan critics...if you cant handle the heat, get out of the kitchen

there will be positives and negatives that come from the situation, including a top recruit possibly not coming here. so fucking what, life will go on

As someone said earlier...only way we keep Wright is if we get Jay Wright. If we get someone big like Barnes...then there is about a 25% chance we could keep Chris.

Coaches are about 70% of the reason why kids commit to schools (unless you're Duke or UNC).

Chris Wright and his dad loved Herb Sendek. They didn't like the way he was treated by our fans...therefore it is not a moot point. I'm not all doom and gloom on this situation. If we get in a great coach big-name coach...then I'll be somewhat happy.

Chris Wright and Herb Sendek are not the program. The program is Case, Marevich, Sloan, Valvano, Robinson, Sendek, and the new guy. On top of that is all the players that have played here and their successes and failures. That is our program. Our program will not die. We will grow and get more Chris Wrights in the future. Quit hedging our program on the back of one player.
