there shouldn't be an asterisk beside their name unless you want to put one beside all the baseball players that abuse amphetamines to stay alert through the course of their rediculously long season. according to most reports, that would put an asterisk beside three quarters of the league for the last 40 years.

As if the whole BALCO scandel wasn't enough to point towards Bond's steriod use if you look at the guy physically he has gotten bigger over the past few years. Seriously, who when they have been training for baseball most of their life, just gets bigger around 40? Even his head is bigger. My high school baseball coach played at carolina and remebers playing against Bond's team in college and described him as a "skinny guy." I think bonds used them.

As for Armstrong, as it was stated earlier he is one of the most tested athletes in the world and has always passed. If you look at the allegations about armstrong most of them aren't as solid as they are with Bonds. Some are from disgruntled former employees claiming to have found a bottle in some random house a year ago, or a french guy that is mad that an american won 6 in a row. Also, think about what Armstrong went through with his body. Would you if you had nearly died and had chemicals in you body for years on end turn around once you were healthy again and risk hurting yourself with steriods? I wouldn't.
