well now David Glenn is saying on 620 The Bull that Phil Ford is a good friend of Wendell Murphy and that is how Ford even came into play. He goes on to say that Murphy had discussions with Ford about his future goals, but thankfully Fowler nixed that. There is something you give credit to Fowler to doing and now that brings a new aspect that isn't being discussed about this coaching search, how much pull does Murphy and the like have with some of the contract break-downs.
