^i dont think bryan singer will mess this movie up. Just look what he did with the first two xmen: even when he decided to change the outfits from the cartoon and yet it still was good.

"The early reviews are in for Superman Returns, and the Man of Steel appears golden. Time calls the June 28 release "an action adventure that's as thrilling for what it means as for what it shows," while Newsweek hails it as a "gorgeously crafted epic" in which newcomer Brandon Routh "effortlessly lays claim to the iconic role, just as [Christopher] Reeve did." Variety notes the film "is never self-consciously hip, ironic, postmodern or camp," but instead is "quite sincere, with an artistic elegance," and the Hollywood Reporter sums it up as "a heartfelt Superman movie." I just may see this now, even sans Miss Tessmacher. "

^yeah except for the part where people are talking and stuff.

^^^One of the biggest problems with Superman is that he's too vanilla, so that's definitely a good thing.

yeah, i've always been drawn to other superheroes rather than superman, because supes was always kind of boring. although i thought some of the superman cartoon episodes were the heat, especially any with LOBO.

I still find it annoying that they are not letting the press review the IMAX 3D version. I just want to know if it's really going to be worth all the extra work for 20 minutes of 3D.

They have a short 2-3 minutes scene available for free iTunes download today. Is it my eyes playing tricks on me, or does the guy that played Cyclops in the Xmen movies work at the daily planet?

i was gonna say in the storyline, but i dunno...for whatever reason she just seems like she was always getting into shit in the movies...i mean the crazy broad jumped into the water at niagra falls just to see if clark was superman, right?

My friends saw it last wednesday and said it was pretty good...Brando makes a cameo which is kinda weird, but everyone is pretty good so I'm told. I need to rent all 4 or 5 or whatever other ones there are before I go see a new one...

^ I dont even know if you need to do that. They've said that this movie is basically resuming after the events of Superman I&II.
