All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised by the immense positivity shown by the Wolfpack fans. I can only hope that it lasts.

That's not true. Everyone called him coach and was respectful. Just because there was a positive attitude didn't mean there was a lack of respect. Lowe seemed like someone who would instill discipline, anyway (he said as much). It's obviously too soon to say how it will turn out.

I was surprised that Grant referred to sendek as "herb," though. Brackman referred to him as "coach." I would guess that grant didn't respect sendek as much.

it looked like he was just looking at Ced and saying hey you're gonna get the ball if you stay. he even kind of acknowledged Herb by mentioning that we're gonna try to continue the growth that Wolfpack bball has seen in the past couple of years.

p.s. that was awesome when his younger son said "Go Wolfpack" in the megaphone, and Mr. Wuf got him to dance alongside him.

i think if he was to get Wright to still come here, then that could be a good help for him to have really good players while he implements the system. great players can help a coach through the beginning while he gets adjusted and begins working out any kinks in the system. i liked that he mentioned that he knows that college ball seems to play a lot of zone defense, and that he understands the zone defense b/c Flip Saunders has the Pistons play some zone.

being a life long state fan, i remember watching coach lowe as a kid playing for state.

i think he will do a fine job here and he has played under a great coach in V and coached in the nba for 15 years total. he know what it takes to work hard and be able to get
to the nba and that is huge. the man has 2 rings to flash

he understands the acc and the history and tradition and how what it takes to win here. with the talent we have, running up tempo lets Ced run the floor. this offense will help him prepare for the nba. he will have to do a lot more running in the nba compared to what he has been running for the past 2 years here. i just think lowe will help him understand what it takes to be there and that he needs to improve at least one more year.

yeah mccauley is back home, and yeah he's done with exams. I think Lowe's gonna do everything he can to keep him here. He said he puts a big emphasis on rebounding, and Mccauley averaged like 200 rebounds a game in high school.
