Turned out the old cleats I had in our storage room got torn up by a mouse. Dick's had a pretty good sale going on a few weeks ago though if you need new ones.

What kind of shape are the fields in? Its been raining here in Durham all day, but I'm about to get off work and debating if I want to go out there. I don't really want to waste a drive across town though if it is going to be muddy and no one is there.

it varies....there were several groups out there today....maybe five different games going on. i played with two different groups today. some of them seem to all know each other like they came together. i'm not a big fan of those types of players because they never pass the ball. if you can get on with a lot of people who don't know each other then that's usually best.

i hate to say it, but in general the lower the skill level of the group you play with, the more likely you'll have fun. i see this with all sorts of different players and it drives me nuts, but as i see someone's skill level increase, their team play drops significantly, and it's pretty annoying.
