You see what happens? You see what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass? (Or ask for reading suggestions?)

I find that with some classic books they seem really cliche and boring, and even though I appreciate its because they started the cliches and have been homaged or outright plagarized in other works that I read earlier, it doesn't make it seem less boring while I'm reading it. Also found that with On the Road." |
First, http://thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=411186.
I didn't find On the Road that bad, but that's mainly because I felt it addressed other broad topics (like the separation of nature and the city, etc). But a book about a kid who thinks people who are hypocrites, . I mean, granted, it might've just been when I read it- early in high school at some point, I think. But I remember hating it so fervently that rereading it seems out of the question.8/2/2006 9:20:48 PM |

I saw a rock band tonight do a song about golems.
In Yiddish.
On an unrelated note, I'm thirding or fourthing Kavalier and Clay, even though I already probably seconded it. 8/3/2006 1:05:33 AM |

^^I used Homage as a past-tense verb and you're upset about my spelling?
