Tobbaco Road is also an expression here in NC which means to be right where you are.

"Would you mind telling me how to get to place X?"

"You're standing on Tobacco Road"(You're right here).

Well there is a new director for both the marching band, and the pep band this year. Dr. Paul Garcia is taking over those, and from what I hear, many of the people in the band like him a lot. I think I remember someone on here saying he was the one that had the idea for the mini-concert that was done during the Clemson game. He might like some of these new ideas for new songs that can be played by both the marching and pep bands. His email address is paul_garcia@ncsu.edu. I think I might email him that Tobacco Road song idea right now in fact.

i would like to suggest the altering the Red & White song for when we play against UNC to the following...

Far beyond west raleigh's ditches in a place that they call Hell
Lived a thousand sons'a bitches and they called it Chapel Hill
So go to hell Carolina
DEvils and deacs stand in line
The red and White from N. C STATE

GO STATE!

most of that was from an altering of one of UNC's fight songs.

Original version:

I'm a Tar Heel born
I'm a Tar Heel bred
And when I die I'll be Tar Heel dead
So it's rah rah Carolina-lina
Rah rah Carolina-lina
Rah rah Carolina-lina
Go to Hell State!

Altered version:

In the ditches west of Raleigh
There's a place that resemebles Hell
And thirty thousand sons of bitches call it Chapel Hill
So go to Hell Carolina-lina
Go to Hell Carolina-lina
Go to Hell Carolina-lina
Roll on State

note: the Go to Hell Carolina-lina has also been seen as piss on Carolina-lina

that's what one guy posted on here. he was like State fans sing this when UNC starts up that song. it fits if you sing it right. i think he posted it before the 2004 football game at UNC.

well it looks like we won't be getting just "STATE" back on the jerseys this year. here's a pic of Simon Harris and the caption to the pic says at the basketball photo shoot.

I can dig it. Harris looks like a monster. I saw him at the soccer game last weekend and he just looked jacked. Hopefully he can ball just a little.

I liked how at the Reynolds game during "Hey Baby", Ms. Wuf got up there on the directors stand and teased Mr. Wuf who was pleading for her love. Great show, and would love to see them do it each time.

I wish more students would join in with the Pep Band when they lean back and forth doing the Nnnnn, Ccccc, Staaaate, N. C. STATE chant. Also why does the trumpets only go to two sides now during the Fast Fight Song. I distinctly remember them going to all three sides before going to back to the fourth side.

it has to do with how long the time out is. Since it's done at an official time out, there's always time to do the two sides. For televised games when the official time outs are TV time outs and thus are much longer (ACC/BIG TEN challenge vs. Michigan) they did 3 sides, as I remember doing it to 3 sides at the end of the year last year.

Haahahahahah, you people think that having a bunch of people dress up in wolf suits and run all over the stadium would be cool?

Are we 5 years old again or are we closet furries or what?

stupidest idea ever, even worse than something rhyminNretarded would come up with.

ok ok how about this. the other day i saw mr. wuf sitting on a bench reading a paper. it got me thinking, they should have someone in the mr. wuf costume at all times, somewhere on campus just acting normal. kindof like ben franklin in philadelphia.

think about it. it's be hilarious.

ok, not trolling, just giving a honest, somehwat objective opinion as somewhat of an outsider... but that chant is dumb, corny, etc

i would personally like to see the 'we are... the wolfpack' get more love. some may say it's a rip from penn state... but whatever.

and when the cheerleaders spell out STATE, what's with mr. wuf really phoning it in this season? he used to take a full dive and slide head first, then flip over. now he just kindof hops over and gets straight on his back.
