it all depends on how you look at it since they've been acquitted in Russia, you have to prove that ROMS isn't paying the copyright owners to say it's illegal. at worst it's illegal, at best it's questionable, but as a consumer i don't know how they can blame you for not knowing it's legality since you are a) paying for the music from a b) company that states and has been proven to pay ROMS a service they would have to essentially prove is not paying the copyright owner.

but still i agree with esgargs, the fact that this is definitely questionable and most likely illegal, why not just download them for free via p2p/BT

I use LimeWire or torrents. You can find any song that you would ever find on AOMP3 and the quality is just as good. And it takes the same amount of time to find them. Sure, every now and then you might get a bad quality, or something won't download, but its sure better than paying for doing something illegal.

I guess if you don't download a lot of songs its not that big a deal, but when you download a shitload like me, it adds up if I were to pay for them all.

pretty sure the RIAA/fed are only cracking down on people who SHARE music with others (e.g. upload), so i don't think downloading from a russian website would get you in trouble.
