My father went there and I grew up in Charleston SC during my younger years before moving to NC.

Ive averaged 7-8 clemson games a year as well since i was in elementary school (about 14 years). Not too hard since the road games werent too far away (UNC, NCSU, WF, Duke, SC).

HEY!

I went to some home games when i was young but my dad didnt want to have to put with me at the games. I dont blame him, i wouldnt want to take a younger kid to the game all the time.

yesterday was one of the greatest college experiences ive ever had.

the entire town was nuts, the place looked incredible, and we looked seriously dangerous.

greatest experience ive ever had in 20 years of going to Clemson

Im with kev on this one. One of my fav experiences ever at Clemson. The crowd was electric and the players were easily feeding off of it.

So this week lets take a look at the newest batch of injuries:
James Davis - hurt shoulder, probable for VT
Roman Fry - ACL out for season
Thomas Hunter - negative MRI, probable for VT

We should be getting Stuckey back against VT. Id prefer to sit Davis for VT if hes not 100% since we could use Spiller and Merriweather.

BIG game tonight. Im actually more worried about the VT game than I was about GT. VT has a better defense and with the way our special teams has been playing all season, Clemson best watch out.

Ill take Clemson 34-13.

yea i think VT's best chance is on special teams. I will be hoping and praying that we have our act together for this...short week, and I'm still on the GT victory high...wouldve been nice to have a bye this week to get it together for the final weeks, but hey....looks like everything is together

James probably wont play...Tommy said that Stuckey was waaaay more likely to play than James.
It's unreal the injuries we've had.

I think this game is tighter than the GT game, so i'll take the Tigers 27-17

GO TIGERS!!!

Clemson played awful. Very disappointed in the offensive play calling. VTs front seven was stronger than GTs and then they began to throw in 2 DBs and yet we were still trying to run right up the middle for 1st and 2nd down. Doesn't help that Proctor had another terrible game. Not sure why we didnt open up the passing game with Stuckey back. Oh well, just another Clemson let down. Time to get ready for Maryland next saturday. Ill be there at noon!

One thing ill never get used to is getting up at 5:30ish to head to these games, although the tailgating makes up for the lose of sleep most of the time.

GO TIGERS!

Not trying to rub it in your faces but I always admit when I'm wrong but I'll also say I was right on about what I said in this thread.

Dont blame ya. The team is playing terrible right now. Offensive play calling has gone to hell and Proctor doesnt seem like hes in the game sometimes. The VT lose didnt surprise me so much since Clemson came off a big home win and then had to travel to Blacksburg on a short week. But we should have been ready for Maryland. Chalk this one up to bad coaching.

See yall in Clemson tomorrow, ill be sitting in the Trustee Box for the game. The game wont be sellout so any of you looking for tickets should be able to find a good amount below facevalue.

holy shit. the atmosphere is amazing and the girls are beautiful. definitely didn't feel like acc football. had SEC-atmosphere all over it. i am extremely impressed and now will consider taking a trip to clemson for a game every year no matter who they play. the fans were also great and the esso club was a ton of fun.

The only thing i hate about being in the trustee box was that i missed the jets flying over the stadium. Easily the best part of Military Appreciation Day.

Clemson vs. Kentucky in the Music City Bowl in Nashville on December 29th at noon on ESPN.
This will be my first trip to Nashville (Ive passed it heading to Arkansas before but dont remember it. Should be a wild game if both defenses dont show up again. This will be my second time seeing these two teams in a bowl game (first was back in a 14-13 clemson win in the peach bowl in the early 90s).

ahah, thats a terrible way to end a season for a clemson fan. Winning the SC game would have made the last month bearable but the game showed a lot of promise for the future (at least for one more year with spiller). Hopefully Korn will be able to step in next year to be an immediate factor at QB. We were lacking that for the last 6 games with Proctor.

Kentucky? Are you serious. This will be worse than PRiv's senior year when we waxed Kansas. I know Kentucky has done well for them this year but they stand no chance in this game.

You have to remember Clemson has not been playing well since the GT victory (the USC game was finally a break with some great plays). I really think Proctor's inconsistency and Davis's injured shoulder have hurt the team.

by no stretch of my imagination did i imagine ending up in the Music City Bowl vs. Kentucky after rushing onto the field after beating GT.

i overlooked the power of mediocrity.
