Honestly as heavy as the b5 s4's are I wouldnt even waste my time pulling the motor to install those pea shooters. I think a set of gt28's(disco potatoes) would be nasty though.

what is the bottom end like on that motor would you have to build the entire rotating assembly to use the 28rs to their potential?

[Edited on September 16, 2006 at 1:06 PM. Reason : btw for not being awd the supra is kinda a chunky monkey too.]

I hope your not saying these arent pea shooters, 440whp isnt shit in the fi world. I honestly dont know the capabilities of the bottom end, but if I had a s4 I would definitly budget for much bigger turbos than k04's and build the bottom end if needed. The car is to heavy to be a beast out of turns(acceleration wise) and low speeds, so why not give it good mid range and top end power. Yeh the supra is heavy at 3400 lbs but it has enough engine bay rom to make up for it.

^ 3.6L turbo'd direct injection gas engine

~360bhp

it's a V6, not half of a gallardo engine. that's the audi/vw the base model 2.5 that is supposedly half of a gallardo engine.

BMW 335i sedan: 0-60 in 4.8 seconds

Quote :
"In a newly-published road test, Car and Driver magazine reports achieving a zero to 60 mph time of just 4.8 seconds. That puts the five-seater sedan on par with the current-generation M3 coupe. Reaching 100 mph takes just 11.8 seconds. The 3616-pound four-door achieves these impressive numbers thanks to a twin-turbo inline-six with a claimed output of 300 horsepower. Of course, there is a great deal of speculation that the engine is actually more powerful that BMW says. Recent dynamometer tests of the 335i coupe tend to confirm this theory."

Dynamometer: BMW 335i continues to impress

Quote :
"Last month, Automobile magazine reported it managed to record 275 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque at the wheels in a dynamometer test of BMW's new 335i coupe. Based on these impressive wheel-horsepower numbers, the magazine reckoned the Bimmer makes close to 350 horsepower at the crank, rather than BMW's official 300 hp figure. Following the publication of this data, many skeptics question the accuracy of the dynamometer readings. Now, the magazine reports retesting the 335i with surprising results. After a number of consistent peaks at 285 horsepower at the wheels, the testers managed to record an impressive 287 horsepower. Amazingly, the car even managed to peak briefly at 299.93 wheel horsepower after shifting to fourth. The magazine insists it wasn't additional torque from a rough shift, but rather momentary turbo spike afforded by the computer. So far, no one has attempted to measure power at the crank, but we suspect Automobile is correct when they say it would be a great deal more than the advertised 300 horsepower."
