My buddy was at the game last night in the UR boxes and he said the place was literally shaking.
At first people stopped the Jose chant after the HR because they thought
something was wrongb ut it was just the upper shaking like usual.

-St. Louis aiming to win their 10th World Series, making them the 2nd-most successful MLB team in history (currently tied with the Philadelphia/Oakland A's on 9 championships). Last championship in 1982.

-Detroit aiming to win their 5th World Series win. Last championship in 1984.

I wouldn't mind either team winning really. St. Louis really loves the Cardinals. But I think I'd have to cheer for the Tigers. If the Tigers win, it shows any team can. And then owners like Glass in Kansas City and Loria in Florida can't hide behind the small-market excuse any longer.
