Come on - the Texans have a horrible O-Line...I'd say only the Cards have a worse line. Vince wouldn't be doing all that hot right now (not that Tennessee has a hot line, but they're clearly better).

It's clear that Mario was a long-term strategy pick. I'm guessing this year Houston will use at least 2 picks on offensive linemen (hell, I'd use my first two picks if I was them - Joe Thomas anyone?), try and sign some free agents into the line and get Carr the protection he's been lacking for all these years.

Carr is (unless it has changed since last week) the most accurate passer in the NFL, he is a good QB. Statistically

It might have been a good idea to draft Young because he has much better mobility, and would have done better with that terrible line they have there, but if they can get a good line in there Carr can be a better QB than Young easily.

^while true that carr completes the highest percentage of his passes...he is 23rd in yards per attempt. its easy to complete passes if each pass is a 7 yard dump off. (some of this could be due to a crappy o-line)

that said...i don't think carr is a great qb or ever will be (i don't think young will be either)...but the texans' biggest need was definitely not qb. and neither was running back at the time when people had high hopes for domanick davis. they were in a very tough situation...it'll be a few years until we can determine if they made the correct move

And that's why no one watches Cold Pizza.

These idiots don't take the time to realize DE is one of the toughest positions to master on any level. Speed and hands wont get you productivity like it will at WR or RB.

Mario will be fine. He's barely 21 years old and playing against veteran right tackles. This conversation is stupid until 3-4 years down the line. No rookie has ever dominated at DE

^^That wasn't cold pizza. It was the NFL Live segment on Sportscenter and Ron Jaworski said it.

BIG difference.

Actually both Jaws and Schlereth said it.

I wonder if he could have a shot at it?

well what did they expect?: 12 sacks as a rookie? as someone else said, he isnt goin to have that big of an impact at DE on a shitty team, as a WR or RB would.

they both said it ass bottom. sclerath said he thinks the LT deserves it. the SC after cold pizza jaworski said we'd be surprised by the pick of what'shisname.

god dammit sclerath was being interviewed during cold pizza. I don't give a ball sack if it was for his nfl live segment. it still came on during cold pizza !
