i just looked at Pyro's site for the first time - very cool idea.
i would suggest taking the "modern" pics again sometime soon, though, while the trees have no leaves. it would help some of the buildings line up better - like the turlington pic - one of the 2006 dorms is completely covered by an oak tree in the pic you have up there now....

While I wouldn't be opposed to multiple (seasonal) "modern" photos, I think having the trees in there in full foliage is important. In a city like Raleigh that still has tons of trees (especially in this arena of town), I think we take for granted that trees of that size don't just pop up overnight, or that in many cases it's the trees that have grown up around the buildings instead of the other way 'round. 11/17/2006 8:36:12 AM |
