No way Louisville drops out of the Top 10. They lost by 3 points to Rutgers. Remember UL went into Manhatten and won going away against the same KSU team that just beat Texas.

1) osu
2) um
3) uf
4) sc
5) nd
6) arkansas
7) wvu
8) rutgers
9) ul
10) lsu

wiscy will get NO love from the computers. they had a piss ass schedule.

V yeah it's possible if the human polls drop uf.. the computers will still give them props for beating usc...

** don't worry, if Wake wins out they'll get their due and be in the Top 10. Remember they have a horrid ooc schedule, though UConn won today over a decent Pitt so that should help...

I guess I could see louisville staying in the top 10. After struggling today and if USC rolls, I think Florida will fall.

What's going to be the deal with Wake Forest???

If they win out they get an automatic bid to BCS b/c the win teh conference. Also if they win out that means that they would have to beat Maryland and VT both top 25 teams....not that i am a WF fan, but it's always good for the conference and the state when we have a team, esp a surprise like WF, in the BCS

rutgers needs a lot of help in the poles to get in. they would have to leap a lot of teams.

i'm thinking mich/ohiost vs. sec winner is most likely as long as it only has 1 loss.

however, all the crap that has happened today, and if ND beats USC, i think it is getting very likely that we could see a rematch of osu/mich as long as the game is a good game. going to be a crazy last few weeks.

i still dont see how an undefeated rutgers doesnt get as much mention as a 1 loss louisville(at the time) or a 1 loss WVU when they are from the same conference.

Not to mention that if Rutgers does knock off WVU that will be 2 wins over top 10 teams

although i did pick at the begining of the year a florida/ND NC game, ND's schedule should be held against them

people let their idea of the strength of a conference determine to much, that is why rutgers doesn't get mentioned. also, people have a hard time believing in teams that don't have a long football tradition, it becomes not about one team possibly being good, like rutgers, but that everyone else must not be good.

but see that is what i am saying. Both Louisville and WVU were getting 1 loss mentions of a shot at the NC and neither played any powerhouses. if rutgers knocks them both off i think they should get a shot

Louisville SOS - 32
WVU SOS - 35
Rutgers SOS - 63 while all 3 pretty much play the same teams

thats what i'm saying, it is now not that rutgers must be even better then WVU and UL, it is that those teams are not as good as we thought.

its stupid, but thats how college football works. it goes on predetermined notions of conference and schedule strength. people just can't grasp that rutgers could be one of the top 2 teams in the country even if they run the table.

that game is irrelevant to this discussion

Im sick and fuck and tired of people blabbering about the ND schedule (which is down from its usual perch) when all these other schools dont play shit either and play all these 1-AA teams

^^ Yeah no one is saying Michigan isn't deserving, just that people criticize NDs schedule baselessly.

Some SOS #s for the undefeateds/1 lossers as of today:

ND: 22
tOSU: 49
Michigan: 29
SC: 4
Florida: 14
Louisville: 24
Rutgers: 66
Wiscy: 60
Ark: 81
Wake: 76
Boise: 99
WVU: 54

notre dames schedule is just fine, dont listen to them, Georgia Tech away, Michigan, and USC away is plenty...
ohio state is ending up only having texas and michigan, cause they didnt play wisconsin this year... they had it easy i say

I am already picturing ND winning out and leaping a 1 loss michigan(if mich were to lose). That would have some people going absolutly nuts.

^^^ Texas is a joke. If they didn't play in the WORST BCS conference they'd be 20-25. Wake should definitely be ahead. The funny thing is Louisville beat KSU by almost 20 points w/ their back QB in Manhattan and Texas is ahead of them too.. I guess losing to an unranked team >>> losing to the #7 team if you're name is Texas.

[Edited on November 12, 2006 at 2:34 PM. Reason : wiscy moving up 6 spots is dumb too.. coaches don't watch any of the games anhyhow..]
