Ivan, Apollo, and Clubber could have beaten Dixon. Even Thunderlips or the Machine Gunn could have beaten Dixon. He was by far the worst opponent by my count (including Spider Murry)

Saw it over the extended weekend, and it was worth it. I can go into how much i liked it, but i dont feel like typing much.

Sooo in summation, it was over the tops of 4 and 5, and maybe even 3. I think Sly played the part well still and it was well casted. Its not Oscar worthy. But it is Rocky worthy.

I would definitly buy the DVD and watch it again in the threater if asked.

i really liked how they showed rocky's personal mottos and motivations (especially when he was in the fight and remember the whole "it's not how hard you get it, but how you keep moving after being hit hard" thing).

It won't win any awards anywhere, but it was FAR from being a bad film, and I thought it was an excellent close to the series.

I think Stallone is one of the most underappreciated people in modern film. He gets a bad rap because of his speech impairment.

And damn I wish I could look like that at age 60. Geez...

Just saw VI on video, liked it quite a bit. Never saw V and have vague memories of II and III. Based on what I remember though, I think as far as quality of film (and believability) goes, I (one) is easily the best and VI is second. The rest can be arranged however, though I'm thinking V is pretty bad. I don't remember anything particularly interesting about IV - classic 80's though it may be - just a lot of hoopla and a ridiculously long and unbelievable fight. Although, if any real person took a beating like rocky did in any of the movies, they'd be dead 10 times over.
