Whatever. All I want to see is giant transforming robots beating the shit out of each other and blowing shit up. Just by watching the trailer I can tell that the film has already delivered the goods. Sure I may have to sit through a few sections of robot-free bullshit character development but that's what the bathroom is for.

Also I can only assume that Frenzy tranforms into a Chorus Line dancer.

I'm hoping this is a Bay movie like Armageddon where two thirds of the stuff works (albeitly in a wholly superficial way) and the other third fails miserably in a hilarious fashion, instead of a Bay movie like Pearl Harbor where everything just sucks.

Aside from the changes to the robot models, I fail to see how this is more "bad ass robots" than Transformers.

We've got Optimus Prime, voiced by Peter Cullen, a red and blue semi truck who is the leader of the heroic Autobots. We've got Bumblebee, a small yellow car who is best friends with human Sam "Spike" Witwicky. We've got the evil Deceptions, lead by Megatron, who is a huge robot that turns into something totally stupid, and Starscream, who transforms into the Air Force's #1 fighter. There are also assorted other Autobots and Decepticons. Then they fight and mumble stupid catch phrases.

Looks about right to me.
