well it looks like it is working so far for the BC game . . . but the UNCG game is still as messed up as before. Lets me reserve a ticket and when you click on print after you reserve the ticket it takes me to the "Your Tickets" page and the ticket doesn't show up. But when I go to the cancel page it has a ticket there for me to cancel.

I went at 5:30 before the game and tried to wait for the Ticket Office people to come to the RBC Center. I ended up talking about my situation to one of the RBC Center's staff members at the box office (name was Colin). Either way, I explained my situation, that I needed tickets and that I purchased a guest ticket as well. I showed him my account history to prove I purchased said ticket, and he went to the back...and I ended up getting Sec. 113 Row E for my 3 tickets (which is different that the student tickets I claimed--Sec. 105 Row A ). He said that he didn't know how it happened ans would look into it. Then I hung around waiting for the other people I was supposed to sit with, and noticed that Erick guy from the Ticket Office made his way to the Box Office. I went over to him and just introduced myself, since I assume he would recognize me from calling so much. I tried to ask what the deal with the students tickets were, and he had no idea still.

I was pretty satisfied with the way they handled my situation, even though it should've never happened in the first place. There definitely needs to be a better communication tool for students to take their ticket problems to, some sort of expert or something. All of us students need to go to student government or something to complain about this.

^^except it wouldn't cost that much money. I'm not talking about something where someone is necessarily there 24 / 7 that can actually fix the problem. With the phone system that the school has it would be quite easy to set up 1 dedicated line that people could call and leave their problems and someone would check it occasionally. This would only be necessary for times the office is not open. Heck, I don't even see the general ticket office number on the student ticket website.


now the BC game is acting screwy. I requested 1 ticket and 2 guest tickets. That part shows up under the "Your tickets" page fine. But nothing shows up on the cancellation page. But everything shows up just fine on my gf's account.

It finally gave me good seats for the UNCG game, but they only show up under the cancellation page and not the your tickets page. If I wait until the ticket office opens on tuesday then it will be too late to cancel them if something goes wrong and I better not get a penalty because the system is screwed up.

^^who is erik? I know pretty much everyone in the ticket office, and have never met an Erik. The guy named Colin actually works for both areas...athletics and RBC...
But next time you should ask for Anna, since she deals with this side of things more...



yeah...I didn't even read this thread..but I got some PMs so I figured I would post....

I don't have anything to do with the ticket system anymore, and haven't for almost a year now. If you have any problems, just show to the game, got the south side window where they have ticket personnel, and they will give you a ticket if you can't print it off for whatever reason (this assuming that the office is closed and you can't get anyone on the phone)

but...other than that, I would say read http://tickets.ncsu.edu and see if there is a contact there
I don't deal with tickets, I don't know who does, and I can't do anything about it--might want to email sbp@ncsu.edu or ssp@ncsu.edu if you have problems, they both check their email

My one student ticket and one guest ticket which I just claimed and went to print are also not showing up. I clicked on 'print tickets' immediately following claiming them (and putting in my credit card info) and it just said "No tickets found in your account". They do however show up on the cancellation page. I didn't write down the section they were in, but I really hope they either fix this or give me tickets that are equally as good.

I was expecting to have to cancel the ticket that I had for UNCG since I couldn't print it. But now everything seems to be working fine.
