^^ Yes, I heard about it.
I AM GOING TO JAPAN GP (@FUJI SPEEDWAY) IN SEPTEMBER!!!! I haven't paid for the tickets yet, but I reserved them for myself and a friend!!!
3 days 2 nights tour (including A2 seat and 2 dinners) costs JPY 99,800 per person (USD 845 as of today's exchange rate)... It's so expensive...
A2 seat is here.. http://www.fujispeedway.jp/english/area/area_a2.html

The first 6 laps of the race were the best 6 laps of racing I have ever seen. I was dissapointed to see Massa go off at turn 4 but I saw it coming several laps back. Hamilton did extremely well under such pressure from the two Ferrari's. There is no question, Hamilton will be a World Champion before his F1 career is over (probably more than once), he is simply too good. 4/9/2007 11:32:51 AM |

Massa is still young. He's proven that he is talented, he just needs to mature a little more. But yeah, I think after last weekend the Ferrari boys will try to do a little better when the lights go out. They can't afford to fuck up the start again. 4/14/2007 4:58:16 PM |

damn spyker rear ending Scott.
wtf was up with alonso? just seemed like the car didn't have the power and braking, or he was driving at 90-95% the whole race. Detuned motor so he can run all out in Spain? I'd think other teams/drivers were running the engine harder and with the dusty conditions and heat it may have worn the motor a little more.
awesome drive by DC in the RBR coming from 21st up to 10th? before the hydraulic line broke. Liuzzi has another less than mediocre drive.
Davidson had great pace throughout until the engine blew. 3 Honda motors up in smoke on the weekend, kind of unexpected.
Massa showed very nice pace, kimi is fast but not as consistent today. Doesn't have the timing for making passes that Michael had, or Alonso has shown over the past few years. He seemed to close up behind under braking, then the front end washed out, and lost time. Would be better off to maintain distance a tad entering the corner, having a higher exit speed and outbraking going into the next turn, which he did later in the race.
AWESOME to see BMW running fast (well, quick Nick at least).
Damnit FOM for having FOUR WEEKS between races.

i will just get general admission, so the grass in the infield. which is where everything happens.
i went a few years ago and paid to sit in the stands, we just had to stand the whole time anyway. didn't see anything in front of us.
during practice and qualifying you can sit wherever you want anyway, so during the weekend you still see pit action regardless
and its cheap as hell 5/27/2007 10:19:10 PM |

That's really nice. Japan GP is way more strict than the US GP, I think. We have to sit at your seat during the whole GP. Fortunately my seat is supposed to be able to see the pit work, but I am not sure how well we can see it. I guess it all depends on where I will be in the A2 section. But I paid JPY 61,000 for my seat, so I should be able to have a great view of the race!!!
We have to wait for 2 weeks for CANADA GP... so long5/28/2007 4:07:55 AM |
