OK if you use the same argument that Red Sox fans (not all) use on the Yankees.....based purely on payroll with the Sox having spent the most of any team in baseball in the off season, and having the 2nd highest payroll in baseball the Sox should sweep the Rockies right out of the Series. I mean come on the Rockies payroll is 53 mil.....The Sox payed 51 mil just to talk to Dice K.....so again if you use the money argument that gets thrown in the Yankees fans face every day.....this should be a walk over. Having said that the Yankees prove year in and year out that $$ doesn't equate to a championship, but with the Red Sox spending more in the last off season than ANY (yes even more than the Yanks) team in baseball anything but a Championship would be a failure....that is if use the $$ argument....
