If the Dems don't do something worthwhile in regards to the war, they'll get their asses voted right back out of office when the people realize we are still in a quagmire, only now, we have higher taxes to deal with.

While the non-binding resolution isn't carrying too much weight, it was indeed a start. So the Dems did a little more than just saying what they needed to say to get elected. Time will tell.

I really am interested to see what happens. I voted for bush, but really dont ever vote one side or the other. It really comes down to who I feel I can trust and who I see as being qualified.

I dont trust many democrats though right now, at least not edwards or hillary. I am undecided on obama, although his promises about pulling out of iraq are believable enough that it scares me, cause I think he would do it just for the sake of keeping his promise, and not because he has actually studied out the issues and made an educated decision. Seems like he is just a people pleaser. Like I said, still undecided.

I would, however, be surprised to see an actual binding legislation come to vote anytime soon. I think they are just looking for more ways to pretend that they are doing meaningful work in the midst of their campaigns all firing up.

I do think their are lots of "qualified" people who may potentially run...

Dems: Gore is in my opinion the most qualified for the job.
Reps: Juliani and Romney are my leading in the "qualified" category

I just generally dont trust senators, or I might put ocain on that list too, as well as obama.
