If anyone needs to have a big night, I think its Horner because Marlyand showed everyone how to beat us: just wear us down. But if Horner can step in and give us 7-10 points then it might be possible, otherwise no.

keys to the game (imo):

pressure D: will UNC press and can we consistently beat it if they do?

Bigs: The winner of the McCauley Hansbrough matchup will likely lead their team to a win.

Foul trouble: Hansbrough and starting pg (name?) vs. our starting lineup

turnover and rebound margin: taking care of the ball and crashing the boards (If we lead both of these categories we will win.....but that's not going out on a limb or anything)

tempo: Whichever team dictates the flow of the game will have a huge advantage (if UNC comes out with a 10 pt lead early, its over)

as long as Engin doesnt have to guard Lawson on D our chances of a sweep is higher

Sidney did a great job rotating Fells over last game and that really caused some headaches for him.

plus, last night i was listening to the Roy williams radio show [it was on when i got in my car]
and a caller made comments about how the fans are sucking it up in the dean dome

roy made a comment that their fans have to show up for wednesday nights game
and roy pretty much said that their fan base does an OK job but needed improvement

rematches are interesting b/c of adjustments based on the last game....I highly doubt the game will flow like the first one. I couldn't believe they didn't press more last game, and i think that is one thing they will focus on in this one.

I'll be interested to see the lawson match ups throughout the game.

Well, we certainly will have Carolina's full undivided attention this time, no doubt. I think it comes down to Atsur. Can he be a steadying force again. Oh yeah, we also need to shoot LIGHTS OUT. What's our record in road games this year? Off the top of my head the only ones I recall winning are Va Tech and Wake Forest.

My gut is telling me this is going to be one of those games where everything has to fall into place for us to win. We've had two of those so far this year so a third is pretty unlikely.

I'm going to say UNC 84 - State 68. Keep it close until late in the second half where UNC goes on a bit of a run against tired legs..

It'll also be interesting to see how many players roy uses from the bench. I've heard alot of talk about how he uses too many bench players (having a 11-12 man rotation as opposed to a 9-10 man rotation).
