i woke up this morning laughing about this. anyone who watched that game and didnt think that was hilarious needs to trade in their NC STATE shirts, man.

unless we didnt see the same game or something, i dont care who is playing.... i like watching basketball - and i really fucking hate to see carolina get calls for 39 minutes straight. and watching that gigantic wide-eyed retard commit foul after foul after travel after travel, and hearing about how great he's gonna be at the next level

There's video on wral.com of Coach K apologizing--but he also defended Henderson, which is bullshit. I don't really care that Hansbrough got hit, but Duke shouldn't pretend that it was unintentional.

1. Henderson was walking off the court all cocky and shit--he knew exactly what he did.

2. Henderson could barely stop himself from laughing in the postgame interview.

3. Henderson is a freshman. What better way to make more of a name for himself than by bitch slapping Carolina's "big man"? Or maybe just taking out a little undisciplined frustration over losing?

4. The refs watched the foul and determined it to be "flagrant." Seems to me that it's kind of kind of hard for a foul to be both flagrant and unintentional.

5. Why didn't the local TV play any of Coach K's comments? I mean, he's always talking about sportsmanship and shit--where was he? It didn't seem to me that he was rushing to a microphone to question this foul.

6. I don't give a shit about Hansbrough. I say, hit him again--but own it.

Bilas pretty much echoed what I thought. It wasn't intentional in so much as he didn't mean to cream his face. He did mean to foul him hard and when that happens you take the risk of doing something like what happened and face the consequences that come with it.
