Place sounds loud as fuck on TNT. But on the local FSN-HD the mics must be turned way down..

^ I've been watching them all year and it goes w/o saying they are much better than the typical 8 with Richardson and Baron heatlhy.

If the Rockets play them, I dont see how Yow can be very effective when the other team is running for 48 minutes

HOUSTON NEEDS TO CLOSE THIS ONE OUT.....THEY WILL DOMINATE THE WARRIORS IF THEY MAKE IT OUT OF THE FIRST RD

Baron Davis was the only player that I liked on the Hornets by the time they left town.

Its great to see him dominating this series like he is.

If the Bulls beat the Pistons in the next round, the Bulls are going to the Finals. Period. I don't see Cleveland or New Jersey beating them in the conference finals.

I think the Rockets can beat the Jazz, but I don't think they can make a run deeper than the second round. They need better production off their bench before a deep run is possible.

^I WOULD HAVE AGREED AND IF DALLAS SOMEHOW GETS OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND THE ROCKETS DON'T HAVE A CHANCE TO GET OUT OF THE 2ND RD.....HOWEVER I DON'T THINK THE WARRIORS CAN PULL THE UPSET IN TWO STRAIGHT SERIES.....THE ROCKETS WILL FORCE GS TO SLOW THE GAME DOWN TO THEIR PACE AND GS HAS NO ONE THAT CAN STOP YOW OR T-MAC

^I WATCHED ABOUT 10 MINUTES OF THAT GAME LAST NIGHT AND I DON'T THINK ONE TEAM SCORED ONCE....PRETTY ISN'T THE TERM I WOULD USE FOR THAT SERIES

The Spurs-Nuggets game last night was good too. I stayed up to watch Horry pretty much end any hope of coming back with his trademark three-point clutch shot. I like the new Nuggets, but they just ran inito the buzzsaw known as the San Antonio Spurs. Melo and A.I. are playing their ass off, but it's just the championship experience and poise of the Spurs that's got them one win from playing the Suns. Spurs and Suns will decide the West if the Mavs don't win three straight.

^Yeah, I love the NBA, and I hope to either write on an NBA beat or be involved with the NBA in some capacity. I know not a lot of people like the NBA here, but I love it.

I'm definitely going to stay up to watch the Warriors-Mavs game. I think the Mavs will win tonight, and I think the key will be keeping Diop on the floor. He was a great defensive presence in Game 4, and he helped keep the game close. Also, Dirk has to man up. He's the star of this team, and he's got to get Biedrens and Harrington in foul trouble. He's got to play down in the paint. No more threes unless you're WIDE open. Plus, Dallas needs to penetrate more to the basket. Stackhouse did exactly what I was talking about. He drove. He got fouled. Two free throws. If they had of follwed his example instead to taking bad perimeter shots in the fourth, the Mavs would have tied the series. Finally, defense, defense, defense. Get on a man, and help with a double team if they decide to drive.

Don't be suprised if the Warriors win tonight, either. I think Don Nelson has the perfect gameplan going, and the Mavs have done minimal adjustments to stop Baron Davis. The funny thing about this is that Al Harrington and Monta Ellis have not shown up in this series. Scary thing for the Mavs if they do show tonight. Also, guys like Pietrus, Barnes, and Biedrens have stepped up, and for them to win tonight, they need one more great effort.

That's all. I didn't want to talk about the Nets-Raptors game because it's pretty much over. The Raptors have totally tanked the last two games.

Who thinks Oakland closes it out tonight?

I like Dallas to push it to 6 unless Monta Ellis and TMNHarrington start to play well.

I can't remember being more excited to watch a first round game.

^^It is still so funny that Greg Paulus was rated over Monta Ellis out of High School.

Im sure Paulus will be quite the pro that Ellis has turned out to be.
