^you are an idiot 81 was just the peak of his accomplishments

You cant be the best player of all time and not have any rings!!!!

KOBE 3

LEBRON 0 (he aint getting one this year either, the spurs will win in 5 games against either of the two east teams)

and oh yeah speaking of east, KOBES LAKERS WOULD BE IN THE CONFERENCE FINALS IN THE FUCKING EAST!!!!

THOSE ARE SHAQ'S RINGS YOU FAG...HE HASN'T WONS SHIT SINCE...LEBRON'S SUPPORTING CAST IS JUST AS BAD IF NOT WORSE AND ALL HE DOES IS WIN....WHEN THE RAPIST WAS 22 YEARS OLD HE WAS GETTING BLOWN OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS IN THE FIRST ROUND EVEN WITH SHAQ ON THE TEAM

KOBE IS A WHINEY BITCH AND LEBRON WILL GO DOWN AS THE BEST NBA PLAYER EVER

HE PLAYS IN THE EAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats like 20 or so more games a year that he plays against shitty opponents

you are one of those assholes who dont watch any nba games during the year and then watch sportscenter a lil bit so you can talk like you watch the games, and then when you talk you make yourself look like the biggest jackass

lets see

didnt the EAST win the finals last year?

so obviously this talent is pretty high on the east coast

personally the west conference minus the suns is a boreeeeee
id rather watch the east teams just about any day of the week really its flashier basketball and more fan friendly.

EAST OR NOT LEBRON IS WINNING PLAYOFF GAMES...KOBE IS WATCHING THEM.....IF YOU THINK THE LAKERS COULD BEAT THE CAVS IN A 7 GAME SERIES THEN YOU ARE ON DRUGS....I HAVE BEEN PLAYING AND WATCHING BASKETBALL REGULARLY FOR 15 YEARS....I UNDERSTAND THE GAME MORE THAN JUST WHAT I SEE ON TV....KOBE DOESN'T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO LEAD A FRANCHISE....LEBRON HAS DOMINATED SINCE HE PUT ON AN NBA JERSEY

I WAS AT THE HS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WHEN KOBE ONLY SCORED 15 POINTS AND ALMOST CHOKED THE GAME AWAY AGAINST A TEAM OF WHITE CHUMPS...IT TOOK HIM 3 YEARS TO EVEN BECOME AN ABOVE AVERAGE PLAYER IN THE NBA AND SO FAR WITHOUT SHAQ HE HASN'T PROVED SHIT....WOW HE SCORED 81 PTS LAST YEAR AGAINST A CHUMP IN THE REGULAR SEASON

EVERYONE KNOWS THE TEAMS PLAY AT A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL IN THE PLAYOFFS....THAT IS WHERE THE REAL CHAMPIONS PROVE THEMSELVES

I SUPPOSE I HAVEN'T WATCHED MANY LAKER PLAYOFF GAMES LATELY SINCE THEY NEVER MAKE IT PAST THE FIRST ROUND

THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY WAS IMPRESSIVE WITH KOBE WAS HOW HE GOT CLOTHESLINED LAST YEAR BY RAJA BELL

by real champions you mean Kobe right??

cause lebron hasnt won any sort of championship

and if you roll your eyes at 81 against a chump then why hasnt anyone else scored 81 on that same chump????

shaq aint shit. shaq needed kobe and wade. then when wade got hurt this year and was still 85% shaq GOT HIS ASS SWEPT BY CHICAGO with a great cast. shaq aint shit and needs kobe/wade+allstar cast to win anything

lebron is on a good pace but the cavs are a good team all around. the lakers are just kobe.

Now that's one hell of a leap. You're saying the Eastern Conference is better than (or at least equal to)the Western Conference because last year the NBA Champion was from the East?

I mean, it surely had nothing to do with a single loaded Eastern Conference team and a Western Conference team now notorious for choking whenever the opportunity arises.

except things like that...that always change...like how the east was dominant in the early 80s with the celtics and sixers...and the west in thate late 80s with the lakers...then the east in the 90s with the pistons and bulls...now the west lately with lakers and spurs...etc

please explain how miami w/o wade provides Shaq with a great roster!? Payton is past his prime. Zo was playing great ball, i'll give you that much. Walker hoists 3's like its no one's business and blatantly refuses to bring himself in the key. Williams hasn't mattered since '01. Doleac is SHIT. Haslem is an average player at best. Eddie Jones hasn't mattered since before Williams was relevant. Kapono can shoot well. Posey is a decent all around player, kind of a poor mans Gerald Wallace.

That being said, how the fuck is that a great cast?

his point was you cant just say "kobe isnt shit the ONLY REASON he won was because of shaq, those are shaq's rings" because shaq couldnt even win 1 playoff game this year without wade

i dont know why i'm even having to explain this...but the lakers 3-peat...shaq and kobe both played a part in that! imagine that!

Shaq is half the player today that he was in his prime. Shaq might not have won those championships in LA on his own, but he was a much bigger factor than Kobe...at least for the first two.

^exactly.... I would readily wager that during those first 3 championship seasons, Kobe could have been replaced by a number of other shooting guards in the league (any capable of scoring around 20 pts per game, of which there are several to choose) and they still would have won. on the other hand, replace shaq with any other big man in the league and they wouldn't have even made it to the finals. that makes that his team, and his rings. nobody says pippen won those rings for chicago! the fact that they were mainly shaq's rings is also supported by the fact that they didn't win on their 4th try when kobe had taken over the team... and even more evident when they booted shaq out of town and went on to sit out the entire playoffs afterward

if shaq was so good how come his last two years in LA they didnt win a title?

how many titles would shaq have won if they put the ball in his hands in crunch time? probably zero cause that dude cant hit a free throw to save his life

b/c kobe was trying to take on a more prominent role and call the lakers "his" team and if it wasn't evident then, surely it is now, that kobe doesn't have the qualities it takes to lead a team... he is too selfish. shaq on the other hand had what it took to win titles, as is evident by his THREE finals MVP awards! Sure his free throw shooting was horrendous, but he also wasn't above having a teammate help make shots down the stretch and keep opponents honest, which is why I said that he probably wouldn't have won the rings on his own, but give him any other shooting guard capable of scoring around 20 points, and he still leads that team to a championship. probably would have won 2 more in his last two seasons as well.

I HOPE KOBE GETS JERMAINE ONEAL BECAUSE THE BOTTOM LINE IS THEY WILL STILL BE A SHITTY TEAM.....IT WILL BE SIMILAR TO WHEN WEBBER WENT TO PHILLY....

BOTTOM LINE: KOBE WILL NEVER WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP AGAIN UNLESS HE GETS TRADED TO THE FOLLOWING TEAMS

SPURS
HEAT
CAVS

I just want to say that everyone seems to forget that the Lakers' "roleplayers" ( hate that term) were pretty damn good. Harper, horry, Shaw, Green, Fisher, Rice. shit, Madsen would get PT with the Bobcats. None of them were great obviously, but I just want to point out this is a team game.

haha right man

kobe was clutch, he was the finisher. the first two titles might have been shaq's, but he couldn't have won them w/out kobe, the 3rd title was prob kobe's but he couldn't have won it w/out shaq. same for wade, wade's title, needed shaq though.

shaq is no joke, he has been to 5 finals and won 4 of them. only one he lost was b/c he ran into one of the greatest centers ever.
