I've got 480 MB RAM right now (for some reason, not 512 like I thought it was supposed to be). I want to buy some more for running photoshop that requires 512. Thinking of getting another 512, should be plenty.

Should I get more and never worry about it again?

you got 512, just some of it is devoted to something else...you cant just put obscure amounts of ram in something...they come standardized in like 128mb intervals...half the shit now is in 512mb intervals
