It would be great strategy for Dick and Danielle to continue this drama as Dad and Daughter that are not on the best of terms. If they can keep it up without getting evicted, they could wind up being final four.

Last nights episode was great but I still don't see why everyone was giving Dustin such a hard time for picking the cash and trip. Everyone else made it seem like Dustin screwed up by bringing it all on Jameka. People should blame her for being an idiot and telling Jen her plan from the beginning.

danielle still isn't nearly as bad as amber...i think amber had 5 different crying scenes last night.

i think that nick will be going home this week. i also think that dustin traded his chance at winning big brother for $5000 and a trip to barbados (though it might not have been a bad trade since i don't think he had a great shot at winning anyways).

i'd be fine with dick being the person to go home next week...he is way too old to continually try to act as cool as he does. and his constantly calling people out is getting old.

I predict one change in future seasons of BB.
With the custom designed Jenna shirts and Dick's Suicidal Tendencies clothing, I predict that CBS is going to either issue houseguests outfits or severely restrict what style of clothing can be brought in.

^ I could see future houseguests, inspired by the Jensa Member and Suicidal Tendencies clothing, attempting to make deals with bands, websites, or other businesses to wear their clothing while a houseguest. CBS would certainly have a problem with a lot of free advertising in their game.

I don't like kail and i think they let her slip by one too many times.

And yes, Amber's crying is the most annoying thing. I now hate her more than i hated Jen. Why was she crying so much when Nick left when she was up in the HOH room saying how they should back door him. I want her and Kail up on the block next week. And I would be happy with either gone.

i'm tired of everyone giving jen a hard time. if the people in the house believe it is getting to her, they are wrong. now, kail can be riled up, but not jen. jen and eric are still my favorites. i think that jen is everyones arkansas (i think that is the right state). as long as she is in the house, the hatred is not directed towards them. dick, on the other hand, is a dick. he has gone from one of my favorites, to the one i want out this week, along with his daughter. danielle just wanted to get in on some of the drama by calling jen out last night, when she really had no apparent reason to. if i had of been in jens shoes, i would probably have attempted to kick dicks ass if he had of poured tea on me, but she took the higher road and did not retaliate. dick has been trying to get jen to fight with him this whole season, and she has not. dick, danielle, and amber round out my least favorites.

I agree, even though Jen is pretty shallow, she may be the most mature person in the house. I know I couldn't just stand there if somebody poured tea on me.

From the Sunday episode, it looks like Daniele is planning to have someone throw the veto competition, use the POV on Kale, and get Eric nominated.

^^I've heard him say many times that he really hated watching the internet feeds in previous seasons and seeing someone sitting alone just thinking in silence, so this year when he's all alone he decided to talk to "himself" so that everyone watching the feeds will know what's going on in his head.

Of course, that doesn't mean he's not going crazy, but at least he's justified the whole talking to himself thing.

I don't understand what you mean by having someone throw the veto comp. If someone threw it, they wouldn't win. There is noway she is going to get everyone in the competition to "throw" it so that she can win...

Not everyone will want to use the veto if they win it.

^^yeah, i don't know what "throwing" the veto competition was about either. the best she can do is get kail or jen to draw jameka's name so she is "playing for them", hope dick's name is drawn...and then hope those 5 can beat out the one remaining person who is not sure to use the veto.

What I mean about the veto is that I feel the plan is to get Kale off and get Eric nominated. Guess we will all find out at 9pm tonight.

BTW, I feel nominating Kale and Jen were not the best choices. I think they have both been pretty much rendered unimportant and powerless. I think it's about time to remove Jameka and Amber. They've both been flying under the radar too long.

I forget what they've shown on the show vs what I've seen on the feeds but it's not a spoiler to say that the target this week 100% has been Eric. They put up Jen and Kail both as pawns with the intention of backdooring Eric with the failsafe of knowing that Kail would leave if the plan to evict Eric didn't go through. Personally I think it was smart as hell to "target" the two most hated people in the house yet again this week. If your plan works you get one of the strongest people in the house out, if it doesn't you still get out someone that no one likes and don't ruffle any feathers.

Except we're talking about Dick here who ruffles feathers on a daily basis like it's his job.

Two thoughts:

1. I remember in previous seasons that planes have flown over the house with messages. I wonder if somehow CBS engineered this particular event. The timing of the banner during the HoH competition seemed to be a little too coincidental .

2. In order to stay in the house, would Eric reveal that he is America's Player and his choices have been decided by the viewers? Really, what could CBS do - kick him out if he revealed it?

1) think about that for a second. Why in the world would CBS want America's player gone? That is retarded.

2) If I was Eric, that is exactly what I would do if I thought the votes were enough to get me gone. It looks like he has the votes to stay this week, though.

Actually that would follow a similar pattern that CBS did a few years ago with the twins. There was a certain point when the "big secret" (twin switch) was exposed. Both twins also got evicted soon afterwards.

Wanted to comment on the POV competition last night. Kail and Jameka made the dumbest choice in agreeing to not compete for the next 5 HOH competitions. HOH is only the most powerful position in BB, and the only way to insure you aren't a nominee for eviction. Jameka immediately realized what a stupid decision she had made. I also don't think giving up $250,000 to win POV was a bright move by Jen. And what a STUPID comment - "This will show them that I am here for the challenge and not the money." No, this shows you are an IDIOT.

1. I absolutely think they did. If this year has been anything, it's been boring. They needed to spice things up, so that's what they did.

2. I'm sure CBS has a clause with Eric that if he reveals he's America's player, he forfeits his bonuses.

I don't see giving up the 250k a big deal. You only lose it if you win, and you've still got 250k. If anything this helps you get closer to winning, so I see no problem with it. As for the HOH, I would have wrote down 4.

Yeah, that POV comp was retarded in general. Zach gave up 10 Gs to show he was a team player then he went and punked out on eating slop the very next turn. If you are gonna be a bitch, at least get some money out of it. Then Jameka, who had no real point in competing so hard for the veto started doing all kinds of retarded shit to get it. I don't think not winning HoH will end up harming her too much because of the strong alliance she has with amber and crew. For Jen, I think she played it well. She didn't hamstring herself with not being able to win HoH, but she won the veto which saved her ass this week.

Dick is a douche and i really can't stand him any longer. he feels his back is against the wall in the house and he is now trying to team up with the ones that he tried so hard to kick out (jen and kail). i hope jen puts the nail in his coffin and doesn't decide to back him. trying to call a truce with jen....hahhahhhahah......i really hope she doesn't buy it.

and danielle is just as annoying. i always thought she was really whiny and acted like a 10 yr old. the house needs to wise up and break up the father-daughter thing. they can't be trusted.

favorites: jen, eric, jessica

Dick and Daniele become stronger players the longer they stay in the game. Jessica has the potential to go far in this game if she keeps flying under the radar.

In most years "the big twist" is revealed to the houseguests well before this point. By the time we're 3-4 weeks in there's usually nothing left to reveal.

If you could alter anything about the BB concept, what would you do?

My main change I would make is not to make POV an automatic event. We've seen too many times that the HOH nominations aren't really for the person that the HOH would like to have evicted. HOH counts on the POV as a tool to get the "real" choice evicted.

If the POV event was altered so that NO POV winner is also an option, we would put more bite into the original nominations.

I agree with both sentiments. You shouldn't be put on the block if you can't play in the HOH. And you should shouldn't be put on the block if you can't even play in the POV.

i would eliminate some of the stupid things that one competition can do to someone for the entire game....such as eating slop for the rest of the game, or wearing leotards or bunny suits. i think what happens in the competition should stay on that field, not carry over.

overall, though, i think they do a good job with the show. i mean, i've been a follower of the series and i don't follow many....

Yeah I like them both but like Survivor more.

I like how the same person can win immunity over and over... and I like how they have "tribes" at first and have a team immunity and then finally merge and have an individual immunity. I also don't like the nominations key thing. The HOH should have to stand up there and say "I nominated _____ and ____ because ____________________". The key thing is stupid...

Dick argues more when he knows he isn't going to be nominated. A lot of people don't put him on the block because they are intimidated by him.
I don't understand why Jameka was so upset, when she doesn't really want to win the HOH anyway. She throws them half the time, or at least appears to.
Danielle is starting to get on my nerves with her whining and such.

My favorite person in the game is Jen. I liked her even more when I found out she was friends with Will and Mike Boogie in real life. No wonder she gave up the $250,000, she doesn't need it with them as friends. They are high rolling in Beverly Hills.

Personally, I'd revert it back what it was in Season 1 where the viewers got to select the nominees, but seeing how I am practically the only one who actually loved that season, that is probably a nonstarter.

Instead, I'd probably have the losing teams of Food Competitions eat fruits and veggies instead of slop (WTF? Are they trying to turn into Fear Factor? PB&J was just fine).

Also, every time I watch the After Dark portion, the producers are always telling the HGs to "stop singing." Since when did it become a crime for someone to belt out a tune? Hell, when Dick was HOH two weeks ago, Showtime Too bleeped him out when he was singing a song on his Walkman.

Also, it looks like Amber's going to lose a lot of viewer support now: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,292499,00.html

^ Agreed.

I think CBS really implemented America's Player horribly this season. It should be called CBS's player. America really isn't telling Eric to do anything ...I was under the impression (after the first episode) that he'd have access to a message board or something like that, so viewers could actually give him advice, tell him what's going on in the house...you know, actually be his ally or something. Not this crap CBS is making him do.

All that to say, if I could change one thing about Big Brother, it would be to change the America's Player thing. Make it so that America counts as one vote in the house, as well as America (not HoH) being the tie-breaker. Don't force someone in the house to be that vote (see how well it worked out for Eric ).

I just don't like having America's player at all. It allows Eric to sometimes know too much, like who is disliked in the house by America, or have his hands tied, like voting for someone he doesn't want to vote for.

i think the timing just doesn't work for america's player the way it is currently implemented. In the house, they have HoH competitions on Thursdays, Nominations and food comp on Friday and the veto competition on Saturday. Usually between SAturday and Thursday after the veto competition, the house has decided who is going home.

That's a problem for America because we don't even see the veto competition until Tuesday. So all the action and talking between Saturday and Thursday are spliced together for the Thursday live show. America votes on the stuff that happens between the HoH and the veto--which usually isn't much.

Oh my God, no, that's the worst idea ever. Moving to a (almost) completely separated house was the best thing they could have done. I watch the Australian and UK versions of Big Brother and they still use the public vote format and it's horribly boring to watch. With the exception of the Australian version having infinitely hotter girls (and I guess guys too, if you're into that) the US version is 1000 times better than one where the public votes. The UK/AU versions are nothing more than popularity contests where the hottest (usually guy) wins. The houseguests aren't allowed to talk about nominations or strategy at all. It's nothing more than the basic concept of watching people live in a house, which I guess like I said is the concept of the show, but I'll be damned if it's not boring as hell to actually watch. I'd so much rather watch the backstabbing, plotting, scheming, lying, betraying and strategizing that is allowed by this format. Of course it means that sometimes the "right" person doesn't win. But you gotta take the good with the bad.

The think I'd like to see changed is have the show come on every night. In the UK the show comes on 7 times a week, and 6 times a week they have a pre-show talk show type thing where they show interesting/funny stuff and do interviews and whatnot, and then 4 times a week they have another show late nights to do more public discussion and interviews/clips whatever. Plus they show the live feeds on tv at night. so basically it's just all big brother all the time, which is something I'd be down for in the US. /BB Geek rant.
