ok so the preview for the last episode shows dexter laying out his tools ready to slice up doakes but I don't think it will be that easy.

Lila is doing something mischevious after she fucks Angel so obviously she's up to something. Alot of people are speculating that the cops will sorround the house and catch dexter with doakes or somehow frame doakes.

he definitely can kill him though because Rule #1 - Dont get caught!!

i'm wondering if they are setting it up so that Deb will end up killing Doakes. I don't think Doekes can stay in the story for next season and they've been making a big deal of Deb's opposition to Dexter not having security detail. I think she's going to find out about Dexter's secret and then have to make a choice and chooses her brother like Dexter chose her last season.

So there are 2 more episodes this season, right? Wonder if they're going to have a 3rd season, considering they're running out of pre-written material (there are only 2 books, I believe, and most of the material has been covered at this point).

I personally dont want this show to go on much longer. It needs to be wrapped up. As disturbing as the show is, I dont want it to fizzle out into crap. end it on an up note. Its going to be hard to find another crazy thing for next season to top the first two.

I wonder if he is going to change his routine now?
