hahaha. 'if you have to bet the bank on whether fed wins 4 grand slams or 2 grand slams in a year, you almost have to bet on 4'

Nope, I think Nadal is going to steal some from him in the near future, at least I think it's more likely than Federer beating Nadal on clay.

Nadal's only 21.

I like what my girlfriend said about Serena's quote.
Serena: "She had some lucky shots"
My girlfriend: "Yeah, they're called winners!"

Sad to see Jankovic lose. She's a cutey and has really grown on me as a player. I wish that Martina Hingis could be making the triumphant comeback that everyone had hoped. At least I won't have to worry about missing the matches this weekend since we all know it's going to be Henin and Feds bringing home the bacon.

In case anyone overlooks it...

and that match last night... it really looked like Roddick played one of the best games of his life and he simply could not beat Federer... that has got to be one of the most disappointing defeats in his career... he can't say he had any problems, did anything inherently wrong... he was simply outclassed even when at his very best

jankovic isn't really a cutie, but she DOES seem like a really nice girl. after her loss last night she was so classy in the post-match interview even when she was obviously disappointed in her loss

yeah i was liking her too...shes not drop dead gorgeous like many of the eastern bloc players, but she has great personality, and a nice smile which she shows often.

If in NEVER you mean NEVER AGAIN, then ok.

He has beaten him once, in Montreal IRRC.

Wrong

Roddick won the open that year, but he didn't beat Federer

David Nalbandian beat Roger in the 4th round IIRC

Yeah, that was terrible. Can't let up and start playing like shit against the best player ever, even with 3 set points on your serve.

ok. this is ridiculous these players are getting beat by being stupid. Federer is not better tahn Djokovic he is an illusion. he pretends to be calm just to psyche his oponent into thinking he is about to play on a different level so they need to hit all amazing winners then they start making mistakes and then they fall apart. that's all it is he is a good actor thats why he keeps winning agassi said basically this same thing. federer is no Sampras who won with his play on the court he just wins by making his opponents feel like they have no chance. Federer would have no chance against Sampras.
