I don't think it takes much imagination to figure out how all the characters got to where they are now, except for the ones that are still supposed to be a mystery, like Peter.

The Bennetts had to get out of texas and go underground, so they moved to CA and the dad got a job at a paper company based on his previous credentials at the "paper company"

Mohinder is teaching, like he used to do.

Parkman got a new job, and someone had to watch after Molly after everyone else was killed.

Nathan, distraught from the apparent death of this brother, quit politics and is now a bum.

So the mexican brother has to be near his sister or ppl around her die. I'm wondering if the brother also becomes toxic when they are seperated.

I'm thinking Niki/Nathan seeing their sibling in the mirror might be a symptom for the "disease" Mohinder is always preaching about. If not I think there is def. some sort of connection regarding the mirror and those two. Maybe some residual effect of him sleeping with her a while back .

I'm thinking Hiro is going to make the white dude the legendary hero Kensi using his powers. Just don't see Hiro marrying the sword makers daughter etc.... plus will be funnier if she hates the guy (better TV) she eventually marries (white guy).

Also very lame. I was waiting for Lindsay Lohan to enter the scene or something. Other than these elements, I really liked the setup for further plotlines. Don't really have a problem with more than one person who can fly. Hell, why wouldn't more than one person evolve that way, it's incredibly useful! I was about as surprised as Hiro at the white anglo kensei, so good form for not being too predictable.

That's an interesting idea. I was thinking rather that she/they are just carriers for a virus that affects only people with abilities, but that everyone on the truck dying was a realization of Suresh's prediction that the virus would eventually mutate to affect normal people.

It is my opinion that Heroes is not as good as people hype it up to be. I think that people are so enthralled with it because of the nature of the characters and the reality that it creates. The first episode for season 2 for example. I was disappointed. Nothing actually happened that moved anything forward.

Battlestar Galactica is better. Its Premieres and finales are better.

That being said, I will watch Heroes because it is still entertaining. And I am wondering how crazy they are going to go with peoples powers.

I liked the episode alot...I have some ideas about the Mexican sibilings as well.

Apparently Honkey Kinsei is going to have some sort of ability...and I can easily see them taking it in the Hiro is Kinsei direction as well as just making him the man behind the scenes to make the Honkey into the legend he's supposed to be.

also, one thing I like so much about the show is that most of these people are just starting to figure out what this whole "powers" thing is all about. It's not like the show is one big superpower/special effects bonanza..it's a more subdued use of the powers, so when they are used, it's interesting and important.

I still feel like it was a major writing blunder to let Sylar live. Following this, an unfortunate major plot hole is that now that everyone has moved on from the big confrontation (Parkman taking care of Molly, HRG and Suresh teaming up, etc.) no one seems to be concerned by the fact that Sylar's body was never recovered. I mean, a simple matter would be to have Molly look for Sylar and confirm his whereabouts or deadness. It's almost a James Bond-esque villain move, where villain walks out of room blindly confident that some convoluted setup will result in Bond's demise.
