plus, if you watch the show...the council kids mentioned all of his hard work in the last episode.
they were even thinking about giving him the star but quickly realized that he is still the biggest "jerk" in town

its about attitude also...how can you not understand that
the first girl to get the star was not popular and was bitching about everything but she WAS bitching about the right things trying to get the council to make changes.

she wasnt being a jerk / she was making a stand and standing up for what she felt was right
not only that...the other kids respected her and she worked hard [harder than anyone at the time]

then that michael kid won the award b/c he was also a hard worker but played the voice of reason. he brought a very balanced point of view to the council meetings as well as showed leadership qualities that is mostly unheard of with a kid that age

this week, they gave the star to one of the youngest, brightest and hard working kids there....one reason / her attitude

if you are going to try to argue about this...at least try and make some valid points
