meh, that's good enough to tell it is the death star... but the shading is spotty and unorganized, the surface looks like Tetris vomited, and the center chasm is way too big

Mine has shading as if lit from the top right, the cheekbone is shaded to give contour, as is the ridge at the top of the nose and the chin

i can see all of that from my picture, and that picture really doesn't do it justice

i like the ones that are actually cut, not shaved and chipped and edged and trimmed and all that stuff

standard eyes nose mouth kind of thing

scary pointy teeth, those are rad

if anything there should be 2 categories, one for best jackolantern, and one for best "original design"

big difference between a pumpkin cut out to look scary within the constraints of the given head, and using the pumpkin as a canvas.
