A Corvette weighs in around 3200lbs.

You are talking over 1200 lbs difference in the two cars. Not to mention the comforts of riding in a Vette.

Also .6 seconds is a large margin of performance increase on a 0-60.

Ferrari's range 100's of thousands of dollars to play with that kind of increase in performance.
