It's not as good as it was last year but they are the consensus 3rd or 4th best conference this year by all measures I've seen...

I would agree with 4th.. The Big XII has impressed me a bit more than I thought... It's clearly better than the Big 10 and ACC from to to bottom though to me...

SEC and Pac-10 are closer than I expected at the top but I'll definitely give the edge to the SEC. I think I'm being pretty fair.

4x^ I don't think anyone believes they're the "best" two teams in the country, but they've won all their games so far and everyone ahead of them in the rankings from the beginning of the year has lost. Just how it turns out for now, though I doubt the season will end that way.
