If it takes 2+ weeks to get an ad company to stop this, how much switching ad companies or getting them for breach of contract?
btw nael

stop serving anything thats not a google ad until you figure this out. if this happens one more time, we are pulling out of the contract. you are causing a loss of users with these bullshit popups. they cannot continue." |
HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHA. So much for that.

the really weird thing is, pop ups seem to not be a problem, until i check on this thread again, and then every time i do, they start right back up (well, maybe not so weird considering it gets bttt every time it starts again, but still, it never seems to happen until i actually go into this thread) 12/7/2007 12:05:06 AM |

So I stopped using Firefox breifly because of the constant crashing, but I'm about to go back to it because I forgot how much I love adblock.
These ads that randomly decide to resize and it stops me from scrolling down the page until I click away from the ad focus, and also take focus if I hover over them even for a second, well they are bullshit.
I remember back when the ads were all gifs, and not even those blinky "you have won a prize" gifs, they just slowly scrolled through a few panes of information. I guess that wasn't as profitable as these COMPLETELY UNRELATED ads are. 12/7/2007 12:06:52 AM |

Might want to disable adds that link to "*.nvero.net"
They've been causing minute long load times (every now and then) and crashes for a lot of IE 7 and Firefox users on this site and others. 12/27/2007 4:32:56 PM |

What? People access TWW from computers where they don't have control over what gets installed? Shocking! That would mean people constantly repeating:
Quote : | "use firefox with adblock" |
should shove their attributional bias up their asses wouldn't it?

I think before you post a reply, you have to watch a 30-second ad, but that you can skip it after 5 seconds. That would really get things rockin. 4/7/2023 7:26:55 PM |
